Baird families now have access to a dedicated website created by Mr. Mertens, Baird's 5th Grade ELA Teacher. The site provides important information, resources, and updates to help incoming 5th grade students and families prepare for a successful start at Baird Middle School.
A Message From Our Principal
Hello Baird Families,
The 2026–27 school year is quickly approaching, and we are excited to welcome our new and returning students back to Baird. The first day of school is August 17, 2026.
I am truly excited to join the Baird community as your new principal. It is an honor to be part of a school that is committed to supporting students and families. I look forward to working together to make this a great year for all of our students and I am excited to meet you soon!
